Our Role*: Concepting, Art Direction, Design + Illustration

Cargo travels. Everywhere. The Portland-based retailer culls the world’s corners, searching for and curating one-of-a kind treasures. The owners wanted a new identity to celebrate their company’s history, as well as a fresh start for their new warehouse retail space in SE Portland. We studied the hand-painted textiles, jewelry, ceramics, printed ephemera, sculptures, and architectural salvage they have collected over the years to get inspired for creating the art for their identity and pattern.
