Our Role*: Concepting, Art Direction, Design + Illustration

Client Andy Ricker’s current PokPok empire started as a stand-out, yet simple Thai restaurant in a house in SE Portland. Our first assignments were centered on expanding their existing branding system for the restaurants themselves (including menus and a second-tier logo system). Our work since has focused on helping brand and package a diverse line of products that are all inspired by his extensive Thai travels. Ranging from Drinking Vinegar to Charcoal, we’ve kept the look and feel of the brand consistent, yet enabled each product to boldly stand alone and pop off the shelves. This work has all been inspired by hand-painted Thai typography, signage, art and design.
