Our Role*: Art Direction, Design + Illustration

We originally developed the logo and brand art for HiTops’ inaugural queer sports bar in San Francisco, where our work was centered around the aesthetic of vintage sports. The posters we developed included photoshoots and hand illustration and set the tone for the brand through typography and color. When the WeHo bar opened in Los Angeles, we helped with some additional interior work, as well as created large format murals in the bar itself, as well as the restrooms. With the recent opening of a third bar in Los Feliz, we were brought in to create wall murals as well as create art to be used throughout the space. Between bar openings, we’ve also developed slide shows and motion graphics for special weekly events as well as specific sport-related viewing parties.
